How Do I Get A Job Visa In Malaysia?

I have already got a job in Malaysia in a US non-bank financial organization, a senior executive position. I had stayed there for about one month with a social visit visa; the company gave the work to process my job visa to an agent; 3 weeks past already the visa is not avilable now.Meanwhile, I have to leave Malaysia since my social visit visa expired.What could I suggest the agent to have the visa quickly processed by the immigration department and should I need to apply to the Malaysian embassy again in my own country to have sticker in my passport after I receive the job visa letter from the Malaysian immigration which the agent should send me? Many thanks for your cooperation.

First and foremost, I’m terribly sorry but to ask you to get your passport back from that agent AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. There are too many so-called ‘agents’ out there to rob your money and even passports.
It would be the best option to apply for a work visa from your home country or any neighboring country with the proper documents as required by the Malaysian Immigration at the Malaysian Embassy there.
Processing time will NOT take any time longer than a week (on normal circumstances).
I worked there for 7 years (I’m British) and there are many ’sharks’ after your money, the agent will hold on to your passport right up to the last minute then charge you thousands of dollars more and come up with a good excuse why it will cost so much more,

ok, you can settle yours ASAP by giving some under table money and it will probably take you about a month to get it done. Meanwhile, pls get a ticket flyout to Bangkok or Singapore out fri and back sunday to get your ppt extended. Then resubmit your ppt to the agent to get the job done. Ask the agent how much your company need to pay for a “quick work”. Dont worry, see too much and being through it cos hubby is foreigner too.
IF your agent is an experience one, they can settled your case very soon!
BTW, you can use the fly in and out of Malaysia thru KLIA using the method I taught you till you get your visa. It is very normal! Dont worry.
